Important: the Live ISO does not install Invariant OS and does not work in virtual machines. Use the Install DVD for VM testing.

Invariant OS patches.

Patch archives test the booted Update Center and allow installed systems to receive fixes without reinstalling a full Install DVD. They are not used by the Live ISO.

Back up first.

The installer may erase the selected disk. Prefer a dedicated test drive or disposable VM disk and do not test against your only copy of important data.
